Nature Sign Design were approached by a local graphic design studio to create nature trail rubbing posts for a children’s nature trail that could be used across the United Kingdom on holiday parks. The nature trail rubbing posts had to be hard wearing and engaging as they would be used by children up to the age of 10 years old on a daily basis and be situated outside.
Each nature trail rubbing post is made from solid pine that has been treated and has a life expectancy in excess of 10 years. And of course as with all Nature Sign Design wooden products the timber is from sustainable sources and is FSC (Forestry Stewardship Certified).
The nature trail rubbing post encourage the children up to the age of 10 to explore the trail and investigate each section by creating rubbings from each of the rubbing posts. Children are also supplied with an instruction leaflet that guides them through the trail.
Nature Sign Design made 33 sets of these rubbing tops and they are distributed across holiday park locations throughout England, Wales and Scotland.
